This course will provide tools and create a culture shift from a punitive approach to a restorative approach in schools where administrators, teachers and students are responsible. It provides skills to create a welcoming and nurturing environment where everyone is respected. This training uses the process of circle dialogue, which is the basis for conflict resolution for many indigenous communities.
Participants of this course will:
Learn to facilitate circle dialogue and practice facilitation.
Learn to create a safe space for trust building, expressing and managing feelings.
Learn the Problem Posing method for solving the conflict or talking about sensitive issues.
