Increases dialogue on the prevention of extremism and violence and develop action steps towards creating a safe community. Design an action plan which is relevant to your communities.
Global Ubuntu team invites nonprofit organizations, foundations, businesses, resettlement agencies, police, and survivors of violence, aid workers, and members of faith communities to join the Dialogue on the Prevention of Extremism and Violence workshop to create a safe community. I am asking the community to take responsibility because the government cannot solve this problem alone. Most of their intervention is necessary, but it is after the fact of violence. It is not preservation to treat the root cause of the problem. I want stockholders to lead the way for making a safe community.

Why this conference:
The Global Ubuntu Team and our fellow citizens' lives are affected by extremism and other forms of violence. Some of us have lost loved ones and almost all of us live with the fear of losing someone in an act of terrorism or other forms of violence in our community.
The Global Ubuntu team is motivated to prevent extremism and violence in our communities. Global Ubuntu works with all of you to create communities in which everyone is valued, feels safe , loved and has a sense of belonging.
Each of us has a responsibility to work on creating a safe community that also values our constitutional rights.
Let’s take responsibility to prevent extremism and violence. One cannot fight alone, but we can fight together.
Acting after violence incidents does not create a safe community but prevention of violence brings peace and safety. Join Global Ubuntu and say no to all form of violence.
Please register for both conference and training. If you have questions call Sumaya Karimi.
